Destiny Estrada

I’m Destiny — a baby stylist still getting the feel of working in a salon. Salon Savoir has been a blessing, giving me the opportunity to grow my skills in haircutting and styling. My hair journey began with my own personal experience. I’ve always struggled with my hair and not knowing how to manage curly textures. Eventually, I realized that my hair wasn’t the problem — the real issue was the lack of knowledge and education in the hair community. I’m very passionate about curly hair/ texture , and I would love to be the stylist for anyone who wants to embrace their natural texture. I’m also a beginner braider. I discovered my love for braiding in beauty school and was taught how to braid by one of my friends. Outside of the salon, I’m usually at church — the place where I feel most grounded. I spend a lot of my time there, attending Bible study and being involved in the young adult ministry, where I’ve found a strong sense of purpose, community, and connection through Christ.
